To start – this is more about the JOURNEY then any big successes.
We are looking for “action” marketers who can detail / journal each step of the way (what I call mini-milestones). So I don’t care if this is your first day online or if you are a big time marketer – EVERYONE is included . . .
STEPS:
- Pick a niche (any niche from my “36 Niche PDF“)
- Do something with it – ANYTHING
- “Journal” your process / progress (Blog AND Twitter)
ACTION IDEAS:
- Do your keyword research (journal your steps / results or even better record them!)
- Build a Web 2.0 property for your niche (Squidoo, Hubpages, it doesn’t matter just pick one or even better pick MANY!)
- Record a video or yourself (or use a slideshow or screen-capture)
promoting your niche market) and submit it to Youtube AND put it on your blog too!
- Write an article (or a press release) about your niche and submit it (Ezinearticles, etc)
- Find an affiliate product or CPA offer that would work with this niche and write about it (even better PROMOTE it and journal your results!)
- You can even start a PPC campaign around your niche (to a Clickbank product or related offer) if you like.
BLOG ABOUT YOUR PROGRESS
- Create a NEW blog (one blog per niche you promote please)
on Blogger (click here to setup your FREE blog)
- Link to our IM Remarkable site, use this link:
http://www.imremarkable.com
- Start blogging by telling YOUR STORY. How long you have been marketing, your experiences, your successes, your failures – if this is your first niche project or your 100th. Remember newbies are more then welcome! Tell us who you are and why you are REMARKABLE in your marketing!
- Blog updates on what you are learning in researching and promoting this niche – be as specific as you can and post as often as you can.
- Blog about your “growth” during this process and how much you are accomplishing. Remember EVERY step matters and every little action item is a SUCCESS!
- Link to (on your blog) ALL of your Web 2.0 properties, article submissions, videos, etc. EVERYTHING you are putting online for each niche. This is the CRITICAL step that we are judging! To see your progress / work
- Talk about your successes – did you get a page / Web 2.0 site indexed by Google? (take a screenshot of it) did you see any traffic (we are only running this for a few days so remember to look for the little successes). Maybe an offer that you selected to monetize your niche converted? Blog it!
TWITTER YOUR PROGRESS:
- Twitter about your progress and add links in your Tweets to your blog, your Web 2.0 spots etc.
- Encourage your followers to RT (Re-tweet your posts)
- All Tweets MUST include the hashtag: #imremarkable
* this is CRITICAL so we can track AND judge your progress!

SCREEN CAPTURE YOUR PROGRESS:
- A key element of how we will select the “MOST REMARKABLE” marketers (in addition to your Blog & Twitter posts) will be based on how detailed (and how often) you post screen captures of your progress / journey.
- If you have Camtasia or another screencap program feel free to use it. If you don’t we suggest this FREE screencam / capture software its AWESOME – JING Project (click here)
- Take screencaps of your Google rankings
- Do videos reviewing your Web 2.0 sites, how you are promoting on Twitter, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING related to this one niche.
- Video & talk about EVERYTHING from your keyword research, to reviewing affiliate offers, to articles, etc. (again this is IMPORTANT)

Wow I am new to this and it is eye opening, what you know compared to what you see as a Niche is more reason to read on. Great stuff and free, its amazing what you can learn by just taking some time to take a gander at different prospects. I downloaded your pdf and am marketing the arthritis niche (this is real cool:) I setup a landing page. I made a video and posted it on 7 sites. I used my video to post a video comment on you tube to other established arthritis posts and have received 7 views. I am excited because I am now taking action and not just paying for training. Thank you Howey You can count me in on the competition. I put this up on June 30th, and away we go.

Hello Howie,
Here’s some progress for you….
I did Keyword research on the Acne niche. “Acne” had over 25,000,000 pages. Way to many to compete with so I went with the more long tail “Acne treatments that work” (26,000) and “Buy Acne treatments” (11,000)

It was soooooo nice to meet you last month in Las Vegas at the PPC live event.

Even though I am on your mailing list ( since I receive your newsletter regularly),
I have to admit I was not really “familiar” with your “product” and probably would not have visited your site, except that your today’s video was highly recommended by my “remarkable” coach of Google Conquest ( i.e. Alex Goad )
whose professional opinion I always trust and value ( implicitely ) !
Besides, at Google Conquest this week, the “niche” happens to be the focus of my homework which makes me grateful to both Alex and you for “having joined
forces” ( unknowingly ?) to enable me to consolidate and apply what I have
learned on the subject in my GC Course. This is my way of acknowledging and
thanking you for the invaluable insight I just gained from watching your indeed “remakable” video. I am also indebted to Alex who ( true to his word & promise as usually and devoid of any kind selfishness) made the appropriate recommendation. The other thing I have learned through this video is that :

I am not having a lot of success with creating a video .. I have decided to use movie maker for creating a video..
My 5th July log of what I did and what I am planning is listed below:-

I always struggled with adding an opt-in or e-mail capture box. This morning I managed to do that all by myself.. That in my view is truly remarkable.. So now I have an opportunity to get people’s details for future correspondence.
The other think I tried to do was to monetize the blog. So I checked for books on quit smoking on clickbank. There were books on clickbank on but there was no affiliate stuff with them for me to choose from. Instead, I added a few links in the template footer.. Here is a list .. I used a hyperlink for these links… and subsequently tested them and they worked to my astonishment..

What a great thing this is. I actually started a blogger blog myself about a month ago now. Just to vent my frustrations and my opnions on affiliate marketing. And indeed posting my progression on my niche, or even the lack of it. I haven’t done Tweeter. I am having trouble with these things cause I tend to think “who the heck is gonna know about me or wants to follow me on twitter??”.
I actually have some errands to run but I might be back soon to seriously join this!

Hi Howie, Inspired as well with your teachings, I am waking up to the niche aspect as a real prospect for earnings. I will concentrate on one niche at a time rather than make money online which is way to broad and requires much resources to muster. I have read that one does not have to be an expert in a particular niche just know how to research. Then there is software to create video websites also allows adsense id’s whatever to get ranked well with google. I will follow the advice with web 2.0 sites as well.

I am picking muscle building. I am a newbie and just learned the first steps of creating a website. I have 12 pages on it so far and have begun to do what I have learned about SEO with tag and links. Well this all sounds really great. I understand the Idea but I have no Idea how to do any of this.

Darn you Howie! I was already pounding to get the Small Business section of my hosted site up and running,and now you’ve pointed the world to the small business niche. At least I’m already a niche expert (government project management and non-profit management), but the regular job and the consulting clients don’t leave much time for product creation and management.
There are only a couple of affiliate links there now (http://mitchellpublicworks.com/?page_id=9) and the setup needs changing (issues with GoDaddy hosting – gonna switch as soon as I get a breather).

Hi Howie,
I have just created my first blog saying how I have been fed up with these so called “internet Marketing Gurus ” that sell you a pile of junk that is so confusing.
I also suggested that if other people have felt the same that they get over to your site using your link.
I feel better already.

Im late in fact very late off the starting blocks. i did see the live webinar and thought it was remarkable. listening to you Howie made me realise that i should concentrate on affiliate products until my understanding and bank balance can better realise my apirations.

I just wanted to thank you, Howie and the whole team who worked tirelessly on this project for the last 6 months. I am so grateful to you for the info and the extra kick in the pants I needed to get moving. Although I currently have a blog, I have been at a loss as what to do next in trying to monetize it. You have given me inspiration and encouragement to delve out into other arenas! I accept the challenge, I know I’m late for the contest, BUT as you said in the livestream I watched this am,” it’s never too late to get started,” right? I just wish I had the $ to take the full course, cause it sounds awesome. God Bless to all!
