I have been following Howie for a few months now. I never cease to be amazed at the content-rich videos that he releases. I have been in the “business” of Internet Marketing for approximately 18 months, so I am a comparative newbie. I speak for all of us newbies whom are just starting out and would like to say a big thank you for sharing your vidios knowledge and niche ideas with us. I am a complete newbie who like you described have just been sitting around trying to gain the knowledge to start but have done nothing. This is good, i’m a newbie overwhelmed with information. Alot of which i find hard to grasp. However this all seem to add up.

I am taking action!!! Just not with your suggested niche markets I am putting forth a real product and setting up a real business to manufacture it. 110v solar panels that are very low cost,plug into a wall socket, are portable, and feature a uinique automatic field cut-off. It is taking a few days to secure the liscensing(did I spell that right?) for this product. I know that this has been floating around the internet for a while but when the cheaters get caught (and they will)they get time in the “Country Club” I build to last the long haul. Quick Tricks will not be from me.You are helping me give birth to something that is real, that can be touched, and can be visited in a couple of months. Kelly

Thank you for making all this information available, especially to those of us who feel overwhelmed to the point of being static in their development.

With all of the information that is available today sometimes it’s almost impossible to simply make a decision as to what one needs to do next. What you present here shows me the direction I need to take and gives me the confidence to know that I can accomplish everything I need to in order to move to the next level as they say.

You have made me realize through the concept of scaling that those that “do more get more” especially with respect to traffic and ultimately sales and profit.

I have created a product but have been somewhat confused as to the most beneficial way to structure my sales model in order to capitalize on the traffic once I begin sending it to my sales page. These videos of yours have made me realize that the model I am going to use is what you have presented here.

The most important thing is to take action and just see how it works out in the beginning because I can always modify or tweak individual components of the overall process as time goes on and I can assess my metrics.

Excellent insights into how to think about researching your niches with Google.
Here what I picked up from your first video:

(1) Use related search terms to determine the subject matter being searched
(2) Use topic keywords appearing in top results for the broad category keyword
(3) Note what forms of media are high ranking to determine those that you can use to rank highly eg. images on fickr, video on Youtube, ebooks in Google Books

The conclusion of your second video on “What not to do…Right market…Wrong Keywords…Google helps you”, was right on target:

“Your market must be commercially viable. Do your keyword search before designing a site. Prove that you can rank your site for the keywords that people are going to search for, fill out a form and buy. Focus on converting traffic, not just general traffic”.

Great advice that is worth a lot!

I have been trying to do the keyword search to find a sub-niche before building a site, but I find a long list of keywords in Adwords that I could choose. Will your Keywordsecret.com software help us get a jump start to find the best sub-niches? I will try it.

You seem to have a large network of products – Are they mostly in Clickbank.com? Can we find you there by your name? Can you recommend your most successful products that you have affiliate programs for?

It is both comforting and refreshing to see the material you have put together that actually makes some sense.
I am a newbie – but over the last 2 years have spent aprox. £2k on what can best be described as rubbish – ebooks that make no sense , courses etc.
I am beginning to see parts of the jigsaw puzzle coming together,thanks to these videos.
I dont think I am thick ( I work in I.T ! ) but I think the information overload that some so called Internet Marketing Gurus pump out is tantamount to theft – as you dont actually make any money due to a thoroughly confused brain.
And they know this.

Great information and thank you very much. But when you mention you have thousands of social network/bookmark connections it seems overwhelming to even consider doing this on my own. How can one person do this on their own aside from paying a not so small army of people to do it on your behalf for a high price?

To rephrase perhaps; if you find a suitable and profitable niche, can generate unique content, and are not a complete idiot with respect to website page/blog creation, how does one do what you are suggesting alone, even with the software tools that are available? At best it seems an almost scary venture into the unknown. Please do not take this the wrong way; I truly like the information you provide and how it is presented.

I never thought of using the information on Google to determine 1. a market, 2. the generation of leads for that market and 3. a market to buy those leads.

This video was just as good as the other two but not as clear to me. For a relative newbie the largely unanswered questions are about social bookmarking, i.e. what, why, and why do I want to?

Also confusing to me was this statement: “If you are linking to your own product site you shouldn’t use redirects. It is better to use direct links.” Okay, I know the what, but again, WHY?

I suspect this is a two part answer; one part might be an overview of redirects vs. direct links. The second part might explain how they function differently and how the different functions impact the website’s ability to attract traffic and get ranking from the search engines.
